A swimming pool starting from the room
In Greece, there are some of the most impressive hotels in the world not only in terms of luxury or amenities but also for the unique view they often offer. One of those hotels for which international media have written is in Santorini and has something, admittedly, impressive. You can go out on the balcony and admire the endless blue sea… swimming (instead of walking that is). Yes, it is true!
It is the Infinity Suites & Dana Villas hotel in Firostefani which has this impressive layout in its swimming pool. No one would expect that the small window at the end of the bathroom is the entrance to an indoor illuminated swimming pool. This is also part of the balcony. From there, one can enjoy the magnificent view of the volcano and the famous sunset of Santorini.
The luxurious room is part of the complex and one evening there costs about 500 euros depending on the period one books. Of course, apart from the swimming pool, which steals the show, the rest of the room, also in Cycladic style, is unique, with the dominating white colour and the minimal decoration making it even more luxurious.
This luxury hotel has several equipped suites and villas. All include, of course, the provisions that a customer may need. Most suites and villas have this indoor heated small pool with a whirlpool, as well as an outdoor private overflow pool. The images from the rooms are extremely impressive and exude luxury.
The sight is extremely impressive, especially if you can enjoy it up close. Getting out of your room and into the balcony, swimming and wearing just your swim-suit, is not a very common thing.
