Crystal clear waters are famous for their depth and color. Fine pebbles on an endless sandy beach and a setting that reminds you of a large island. This is what you will see if you find yourself in the famous for its depth of the Greek beach, Akoli. You probably know that it called abysses and not unfairly as you will understand when you will visit it. Akoli beach is located in Achaia and is one of the most famous beaches in the Peloponnese and the whole of Greece.
Akoli is a long sandy beach that you will enjoy your swim no matter how crowded it is. You’ll find a place to set up your umbrella. There’s not much natural shade, which is why we suggest you bring your equipment with you. However, since one part of it is an organized beach, you will not need a lot of things.
In Akoli, you will enjoy a nice swim if you like to swim in the deep waters. Ideally, you can also have a mask to explore the bottom of the sea. The waters may seem shallow to you but soon you will realize that you will swim on one of the deepest beaches in Greece. This means that you have to be more careful than on a beach with shallow water.
Regarding the homonymous settlement in which the beach is located, it is a new and modern settlement in which you will find everything. At the end of the east side of the beach, you can also indulge in water sports or beach volleyball. Akoli is the ideal place to spend all day there swimming from the morning until sunset, late in the afternoon.
