Zorkos Beach

Make a day of your visit to beautiful Zorkos beach at the northern part of Andros

A hideaway on the northern part of the island, Zorkos beach is 40 km north of Chora and almost 17km from Gavrio following the road to Palaistou and then a dirt road towards the village of Kato Varidi. The beach is long, not exactly sandy but with small pebbles, with a river running into it forming a small lagoon behind it.

The bay here offers little shield from the gusty summer winds and unfortunately this will make it hard for kids to swim unattended. There are sunbeds and umbrellas as well as a tavern at the back of the beach. A lovely place to spend a day!
