Halkolimionas is easily accessible and ideal for snorkelling
A secluded beach, Halkolimionas is almost at the centre of the western coastline of Andros, approximately 34 km from the port of Gavrio, about 20 km from Chora and 16 km from Batsi. It is a large beach combining sand and pebbles and easily accessible via an asphalt road leading all the way to the beach.
Stay in Korthi town, one of the most picturesque villages in the island
The coast there is a bit rocky, which makes Halkolimionas ideal for snorkeling, while its position protects it from northern winds. Sitting on the beach one can look at the ships passing by in the distance and when the weather is good one can see the islands of Tzia, Syros and Giaros.
